Traditional gas cylinder hand trucks only use two load wheels, meaning most of the weight rests on the arms and backs of the operators. The STS cylinder trolley is built differently, as it uses a four-wheel design to ensure the entire weight of the cylinder is taken by the trolley itself. We also incorporated two front roller wheels to help operators when loading and unloading the trolley.

Safety is always at the front of our minds when designing new products. With this model, to ensure the cylinder is secure and fastened into place, we fitted the unit with a safety chain. While the gas trolley itself supports the cylinder and provides stability, the chain brings a second level of safety to the unit.

Cylinder Hand Trucks used in an explosive or potentially hazardous environment require safety certification. The ATEX Gas Cylinder Trolley is manufactured to ensure electrical continuity, and a path to ground is always present. The trolley is suitable for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 (gas and dust). Each of our 'Ex-rated' models is supplied with a manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity.

If you need to lift your cylinders overhead using a crane or hoist, this option is for you. The fully-certified and tested wire-rope sling supports the weight of the cylinder and allows your cylinders to be lifted up onto raised platforms, mezzanine decks and beyond.
