It is vital that only certified equipment is used when explosive or potentially explosive atmospheres exist. Our pneumatic-hydraulic pedestrian stacker truck is ATEX / UKEX certified for use in Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 environments. Each of our ATEX trucks is designed to ensure electrical continuity whereby a path to ground is always present. We supply a manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity which demonstrates compliance with the directives and ISO Standards.

Operators simply plug in an air hose to power up the machine. Our qualified engineers install pneumatic hydraulic circuits and mandatory safety features such as emergency stops and blocking valves. Should the air line be disconnected for any reason, the forks remain locked in place ensuring the load is always safe.

To reduce the risk of spark generation we fit our ATEX stacker trucks with stainless-steel clad forks. Should the forks contact the ground or an obstruction, the chance of a spark is drastically reduced. Manufactured in the UK, the stainless steel cladding is of an extremely high standard and is very robust.

We understand that different loads will require different fork positions and that's why we offer adjustment of the fork positions along the carriage. Operators simply lift the forks up to height and then push or pull them into the correct position.

Ackermann-style rear-wheel steering gives you maximum directional control when lifting pallets and IBCs. The wheels each contain two precision bearings ensuring a low rolling resistance. Park brakes are fitted to keep the stacker truck stationary when not in use and custom leg configurations can be provided should you need to straddle a large vessel or tank.

We can offer a dual-mast telescopic model which provides 107.8” (2740mm) of lift height at a reduced capacity of 2545.5 Lb. (1200kg). This is a great option for those who need to load pallets and IBCs onto tall racking or different levels of the factory. Standard lift height is 58.26” (1480mm) with a SWL of 2866 lb. (1300kg).

We can provide these units with an ATEX weigh scale system. Measure accurately the weight of pallets and IBCs using this model. The weighing system is accurate to +/- 1.25kg. 

The ATEX weigh scale display has a removable battery pack that must be charged in a safe area. We can supply additional ATEX batteries if needed.  A remote weigh scale option is also available.

Our ATEX/UKEX explosion-proof forked stackers suitable for tilting vessels have stainless steel-clad forks that tilt forward allowing for the decanting of large vessels and IBC’s. Tilting forks allows operators to fully empty their process vessels to avoid waste. When a vessel is 90% empty, the 10% remaining inside is very difficult to remove. Using this machine, the final 10% of the material can be removed through the drain port saving both time and money. 

ATEX pneumatic drive system

When moving goods very frequently, we suggest adding our power drive upgrade. Our pneumatic power drive system offers effortless control and reduces the load operator's experience. The air line must remain connected throughout movement and therefore it is important to consider how the airline will be managed during movement; customers sometimes opt for overhead air line systems.

When machinery integration is critical we can modify the outrigger leg dimensions to suit your facility. Whether that means making the legs wider to go around an obstruction, or narrower to fit beneath a machine, we've got you covered.

For safe area applications we adapt an STP07 (pneumatic unit) into an STE07 (electric unit). On-board batteries then power the hydraulic lift function. This change means the unit will not be suitable for ATEX environments. We don't currently offer ATEX electric versions of this model.
