Plastic Jerrycan Mixer (4 Containers)

Mix four plastic jerrycans simultaneously using this end-over-end electric mixer. The operator loads four containers into the mixer head, they then secure them in place using the simple clamp-down arrangement; once secure the mixer is started via the control panel. This model is popular with customers who work with small batch sizes. The mixer is mains 120V powered and complies with the Machinery Directive.

Electric control system

This jerrycan mixer features an electric control panel on the side of the unit. The following controls are available via the panel: start/stop, mix timer, variable RPM, docking function and LED-light indicators. Users can configure the jerrycan mixer to suit their requirements, once they press start the mixer will rotate for the set duration. A home function button returns the stack of jerrycans to the vertical orientation ready for unloading.

Head assembly

Designed with simplicity in mind the mixer head is fast and easy to load. Place four containers inside the base plate all touching one another. Place the clamp-down bar on top of the four containers and use the two clamp-down nuts to secure the containers in place. The clamping mechanism requires no tools as it is secured by hand. We are able to adapt the mixer head to accommodate containers of different sizes if required by your company.

Fully compliant safety guarding

We manufacture each jerrycan mixer with a fully-compliant guarding arrangement as standard. The guarding protects operators from four sides preventing access to the rotating jerrycans during mixing. Safety guarding is of paramount importance and is a mandatory requirement, without full guarding it is difficult to write a credible workplace risk assessment.

Safety gate interlock

Safety and compliance are key priorities for all companies. This model utilises a safety gate interlock, this prevents operators from being able to rotate the jerrycans with the gates of the mixer open. The correct way to stop the mixer while it is running is by pressing the 'stop' button on the control panel. The safety gate interlock stops the jerrycans from rotating should the gates be opened during a mix cycle.
